Food aid essential for Cyclone Idai affected communities in Mozambique for one month

The WFP project ‘Saving Lives in Mozambique’ has been bringing essential food aid to Mozambicans in desperate need of emergency food assistance, and aim to reach out to all the 1.7 million affected.
TBHF’s contribution helped WFP provide life-saving in-kind assistance to vulnerable households in the worst affected districts of Tete, Sofala, Zambezia and Manica provinces of Mozambique.
The US$100,000 contribution will enable WFP to purchase and deliver 51 metric tonnes (MT) of cereals, 9 MT of pulses, 3 MT of fortified vegetable oil and 9 MT on super cereals.
