Improving Children’s Food Security in Gaza

The project trained mothers in Gaza to establish food production units that provide their families with sustainable income while ensuring their food security. The families were given courses on animal breeding, cooking and sewing. The mothers were able to secure an income by cooking meals and sewing school uniforms to sell them to kindergartens and schools to the benefit of the children of those families and the community at large.
