While public education in Kenya is free at both preprimary and primary level, parents are expected to procure uniforms and books for their children. Many children attends school with no student desks, and many vulnerable families do not have adequate funds to do so and will benefit from a onetime donation of school uniform. Provision of school desks and uniforms for vulnerable refugee learners in preprimary and primary in Nairobi and urban centers will ensure that needy refugee and host community learners are able to enroll and remain in school
