Despite its natural and cultural wealth, Siwa’s population is quite poor. The community lacks many services, from public health to various branches of education. This is a problem that affects not only elementary schooling for girls and boys, but also vocational training for teenagers and young adults. This grant is to establish an education centre for both boys and girls, and to offer vocational training programs targeting different skills and specialised programs for adults, to be recruited in the education center afterwards.
