Nominator Questions
To submit a nomination, you may choose one of two methods. First, you can fill out the online application form directly on The Big Heart Foundation website, or you have the option to download the nomination form, complete it with all necessary information, and then re-upload it. This process should be completed within the specified yearly timeframe for submissions during each edition.
The nomination window for SIARA 2024 spans from September 5th to November 15th, 2023.
Nominations should spotlight the organization’s notable achievements within the past two years, specifically those directed towards enhancing the lives and communities of refugees. Showcase outstanding contributions that address refugee concerns, delve into challenges overcome and gaps addressed, detail advocacy efforts and policy impacts related to refugees, and elaborate on the influence of the organization's work on displaced individuals. Also, describe how the award would shape the organization's future and path.
You are eligible to nominate an organization if you have been involved as its founder, board member, employee, beneficiary, or partner. Furthermore, nominations are also welcomed for organizations whose impactful efforts for refugees and displaced individuals you have personally observed
After submitting the nomination form, you will receive a confirmation email confirming the receipt of your submission. Following this, the nomination will go through an evaluation process. If required, you may be contacted to provide additional supporting documents. The winner will receive notification between May and June 2024.
You are encouraged to nominate eligible organizations whose projects showcase remarkable refugee support efforts. It's important to note that the organization itself must be the nominee.
